It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things that we cannot yet see.” (New Living Translation).
When you are totally blind, you must have extra faith in God since you don't always know who or what is around you. We must not try to fix things ourselves but depend completely on God to do this. We should not spend our time worrying about things that may or may not happen as stated in Matthew 6.
I want to tell my story because I want people to know that having faith in Jesus Christ is necessary to get through each day. I want people to know what it was like to grow up visually impaired and work and that you can function in this world without physically seeing. I honestly believe God had a plan for me and feel that blindness was a major part of it.
